Dear Friends,

A few years ago I witnessed the initiative of some well established Endodontists to found an association with primary goals the promotion and distinction of our specialty in the dental community and the general public. Their ultimate goal was the recognition of Endodontology as a certified dental specialty by the Greek state and the European Union. Today and despite the challenges, more than seventy specialized dentists with practices limited to Endodontics have joined this higher purpose.

This Board of Directors focuses on contributing to the needs of the everyday endodontic practice and aims to a professional communication and collaboration between the members of this association. Fellowship, solidarity and friendship will prevail in our community.

One of the our most important goals is to provide scientific continuing education and professional training to our members and general dentists as well, by organizing events and educational courses on contemporary Endodontic subjects. This way we can apply scientific knowledge on clinical practice. We believe that all this can be accomplished by collaborating with other scientific associations and establishing first-hand relationships with the international endodontic community.

From its beginning our association made a difference by giving the stand to all of its members and this soon created a community of highly educated scientists and professionals. The Board of Directors and I personally invite you to embrace and participate to this new effort so that our association can continue to thrive.
